12/13/2025 Creation Batch

My creation batch of traditional work is here!

I have my first "couples" commission (shoutout to Patreon member Havilah!), so I'm working on that. I did a first pass and got feedback so now I'm prepping to do a second (hopefully final) run on it in pastels. Some of my favorite painters (Schiele & Klimt) did plenty of couples drawings & sketches so it's nice to follow in their footsteps for a commission.

This week I actually did my Illustration & Storytelling class homework; which was to create three covers of a comic series. I chose Jeff Jone's Idyl/I'm Age work (of course). Idyl/I’m Age is a comic series that primarily focuses on the wanderings of a naked woman in nature. It’s a collection of single page stories that tackle philosophy, life and nonsense through witty dialogue and strange scenarios. I did these in Procreate on my iPad.

I submitted my cover sketches for feedback this week, so we'll see what they say!!
