I’m a self-taught artist working primarily in traditional mediums such as graphite, ink, watercolor, and oils.
I create works that represent my idea of pure, unapologetic femininity. My focus remains rooted in the physical female form. I’m drawn to nudity because the body is a record. It shows the truth of everything—the aftermath and beginnings of fear, joy, desire, melancholy, pain, and ecstasy. Through the body, a never-ending stream of ideals, emotions, and philosophies can be expressed.
My best work is completed within a single sitting. The first lines and strokes are the purest: no erasing, no reworks, no paint-overs.
Above all, the primary inspiration for my work comes from my wife, Maria. I want my viewers to see the same beauty and perfection in the women I draw, that I see in her.
If there is any purpose in my work, it is to ask that women be seen with greater respect and understanding—not reduced, not simplified, but recognized in a full reality. I want to invite a quieter kind of looking, one grounded in a willingness to understand what is truly there.
I work full time as an aerospace supply chain manager. If I'm not working or creating, I'm hanging out with my wife and our cat family. I could also be playing video games or Magic the Gathering.
