In this reflection, I explore how early creative certainty shapes my work today, why mastering nature’s rules matters, and why true expression begins when discipline gives way to instinct. This is about reclaiming boldness, trusting the subconscious, and painting without fear.

I distinguish between making art and making exhibit-worthy work I’m proud to put my name on. Even though I produce a lot, only a few pieces fully express my message. “Holy” is my model: confident, intentional marks; feminine without strict realism; a confident moment with a hint of voyeurism; and a nod to past masters. I reject critique that hides behind “nature” instead of artistic intent.
