This was drawn directly from life during my trip to Barcelona, Spain.
I wanted to emphasize the reflections in the water. Much like my other watercolor, "Masts", the boats were a focal point and had a dark and eerie silence associated with them. It carries the same emotional weight as "Masts" with the two harsh contrasts of black and white in the piece.
