Big Announcements: April Show and Commissions!

Hello everyone! I have two things I'd like to bring to your attention:

The first and most important one is that my friend is opening up an art gallery in April of this year, called "Little Brick Art Gallery", and I will have some work up there! "Unity" and "Four Trees" (in the photos) will be up for sale and public viewing starting the First Friday of April, 4/4 from 6pm - 10pm! I will be there with Maria as well so swing by and say hi! This is not exclusive to me, so there will be other artists exhibiting with me.

If you can't make it for First Friday (4/4), I will also be there for a little bit around 6pm-7pm on Second Saturday (4/12) and Final Friday 6pm-10pm (4/27). Unless the gallery owner forces my hand, I do not plan on being there for "Family Friday" as I do not particularly have family friendly themes.

The gallery is located at 1726 W McCormick St, Wichita KS.

Due to the timing, my two pieces will remain for sale to my subscribers only and I will not be listing them online until 4/5, the Saturday after the First Friday. If you are interested in purchasing either, let me know as I would still like to show them throughout April in the gallery, but I will mark them as sold. There may be a third piece available, but I am not making any promises as I do not like rushing things!

I'm excited for this opportunity to make some money, but more importantly, it's a great chance to be seen by more people. I'm pretty green when it comes to the Wichita art scene so I'm anxious to see what it's really like. I did have the WFAA show last November, but I was not enthused about it at all; since the paintings had to be approved prior to showing and I felt like they stifled my creativity.

Anyway, the second announcement is that I will be opening up commissions!! Once again, my subscribers get priority, so no one else will know I'm accepting commissions until my First Friday show.

I will draw/paint anything, but keep in mind that I'm more oriented toward "fine art" paintings/drawings/sketches, not technical art and graphic design riff raff.

Since I'm just starting out, be sure to grab me while I'm cheap!
