6/29/2025 Creation Batch

One of my main goals is to be able to draw a woman without reference, completely from memory, with the correct perspective, proportion, value and harmony.

I know it can be done; it's just repetition. I remember watching the late Kim Jung-Gi and many of the Superani artists do it. Frazetta did it and his only advice when asked about it was "I just kept on drawing".

The pen/ink drawings from this batch were all from memory, no reference. The graphite pieces were from reference photos while cross studying one of my Bridgman books except for the face studies; those were from an Adolph Menzel drawing and a glamour model photo.
