Painting, painting, painting.

I've added trees on my Chapin Park piece; so far so good. I have to be careful and make sure I carry it only as far as I need to. The current debate is whether or not it needs a fourth tree on the left or right side. My wife think it needs more branches to be realistic; but I'm not going for realism here.

I've got three works in progress, but no vision has come to me yet on two of the canvases, the 12" x 12" and the 16"x 18" (?).

Third has another abstract feminine shape, similar to my "Angel" piece. It's a little more suggestive and revealing, maybe "Devil" would be a good name, but I'm not too keen on associating women with evil. It'll sit until I'm ready. Maybe it will end up in the garbage. The canvas is cheap and I'm not too concerned with a finished project, just playing around.

A third painting will make its way up to my store end of February: "Green Nude". I will post it here as soon as it's done drying. I'm not particularly proud of it, but I am proud that I carried it through to completion. Edvard Munch's "Puberty" was definitely an inspiration for it.
